Veterinary Surgeon

After obtaining her first degree in Computer Software Management, it became clear to Mina that what she really wanted to do was work with animals, so she went back to University and graduated as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2017 from Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Mina began working in the UK in 2019 gaining a lot of valuable experience in Small Animal practice, which included overseeing everyday cases and out of hours emergency and critical care patients. Since joining the Mead team Mina has continued her impressive professional development by undertaking a Small Animal Surgery Certificate and Feline Medicine Certificate. As a valued member of our team Mina enjoys working up cases with her colleagues and exchanging clinical opinions on more complex cases. You can sometimes see Mina in our day service helping her team.

Although she doesn’t own a cat at present, she recently lost her beloved feline companion after 18 adventurous years, Mina loves taking care of cats and has made it her life goal to help as many as she can so they can live long and healthy lives.

Outside of the vet surgery Mina enjoys cooking for her friends and colleagues!

After earning her Veterinary Medicine degree in Sicily, Sam made the move to the UK, where she has spent the last 6.5 years dedicating herself to the veterinary field. Sam has found her niche in Emergency and Critical Care (ECC), a realm of veterinary that she finds both challenging and immensely rewarding. Currently, she is diligently working towards obtaining her ECC Certificate, a testament to her commitment to advancing her skills and knowledge in this specialized area.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Sam holds a deep affection for her loyal companion, Alice, a 15-year-old dog who goes everywhere with her including work!  Outside of her veterinary work, Sam loves music, yoga, traveling, and of course travelling!
